Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Tasha Ray Productions, Inc. ("K.", "we", "us") covering the K. app and website at getk.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where required, notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

You must be 18 or older to use K. At signup you must confirm your age, and to participate in live human conversations you must complete identity verification by submitting a government-issued photo ID. We use verification to enforce the age requirement and to keep banned people from returning under a new account.

You agree that the information you provide is truthful and belongs to you. Accounts we reasonably believe to be underage, impersonating another person, or linked to a previously banned identity may be suspended or removed without refund.

K. connects you anonymously with other adult members for one-on-one advice, with same-sex mentors, with multi-person panels, and with an AI advisor. Everything shared on K. is personal opinion and general educational information only.

No responder, mentor, expert, or AI advisor on K. is acting as your therapist, doctor, attorney, or financial adviser, and using K. creates no professional or fiduciary relationship. Contributors described as experts share general information based on their experience; they do not give individualized professional advice through K. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make.

AI-generated responses are clearly labeled in the app. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it as a substitute for a qualified professional.

You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. One person, one account. You may not sell, share, or transfer your account.

The following are prohibited on K.:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
• Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, or sexual solicitation of any kind.
• Sharing another person's private information (doxxing), including names, addresses, workplaces, or images posted without consent.
• Sharing your own or requesting others' off-platform contact details, or attempting to move conversations off K. to evade moderation.
• Advertising, spam, recruiting, scams, or commercial solicitation.
• Encouraging self-harm, violence, or illegal activity, or presenting yourself as a licensed professional you are not.
• Automated scraping, reverse engineering, security probing, or interfering with the Service or other members' use of it.

Messages, images, and voice transcripts are screened automatically and may be reviewed by moderators when flagged or reported. Violations can lead to content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban tied to your verified identity. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

You keep ownership of what you write, record, and upload. You grant K. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transcribe, moderate, and display your content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including showing anonymized answers in features such as "Best answers this week." Anonymized means shown without your real name, email, or verification details.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

K. offers a free tier that includes unlimited AI advisor chat plus monthly limits on live-match questions (3 per calendar month), voice messages, and saved answers. K. Unlimited is a paid subscription that removes those limits and unlocks Panels, Expert Corner, and priority placement in the responder queue.

New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at the price shown at signup, charged to your payment method. One trial per person; we may decline a trial to accounts that have already used one.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your profile; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial-period refunds. Prices may change with advance notice, effective on your next renewal.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your use of checkout is also subject to Stripe's terms.

We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may impose or adjust usage limits to protect the Service. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Live human responders are volunteers and members; we cannot guarantee that a human will be available for any given question, in which case the AI advisor may respond instead.

You may stop using K. at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of advice given by members, mentors, experts, or the AI advisor, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, K. and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or emotional distress, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50).

You agree to indemnify and hold K. harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and K. agree to first try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. If that fails, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction and venue. Each party waives any right to participate in a class or representative action.
